One goal I strive to achieve in my paintings is broadening perspectives through presenting correct images of the world and the images around us. One such image that reflects an accurate perspective of the world is the Peters Projection Map at www.odtmaps.com. This map gives the most accurate size of each continent’s land mass. As I began painting this map, I added Tibet’s borders and integrated cool and warm colors emphasizing the temperature of each continent. Thus, I call this piece Our World” Correcting the Perspective.”
